V6 -> GT Front Bumper Conversion Question
So today I picked up my parts from the dealer, and I am now a little confused.
I now have the GT front bumper, the fender wells, the splash shield (air defelector), and some hex(?) bolts.
Can anyone that has done this conversion help me out with some info on how exactly the splash shield goes on? It has baffled me...

Are you referring to the valence that goes between the bottom of the bumper and the radiator core support? If so you need to get the appropriate speed nuts and screws to fasten it in place six for the bumper side three for the radiator support side.
You will need:
6 - W711274 S439 Nuts
9 - N801169 S900 Screws
3 - W705992 S441 Nuts
Here is shop manual reference to assist you.

You will also need to change the foam insert inside the bumper, it's a small pieces on top that fills in the gap of the bumper cover on the V6 where the GT is flat (that,s why the opening for the grill is larger on the V6).
See the two pics, you will note that the foam is stamped with GT or V6
