And trust me, I use the turn signals even when I am pulling into my diveway....no probs.
I know what you mean. I turn mine on early for everyone to see the show. I know...I know, it's boarderline pathetic. But hey, I bought them for a reason right. So everyone behind me. Enjoy!

I installed mine tonight, what a very cool mod! Although the wife thinks I have a screw loose....
I also ran the extra two wires to get rid of the burst mode on the stop lights, it took me alomost 3 hours to run the wires (because I installed the wires into the harness) and get everything tucked away but it's done and I love it.

Just installed mine as well. I installed mine just as the kit came - did not run the extra wires for normal brake light operation. This was indeed a very easy mod. Took me less that 30 minutes and I have a Shaker 1000 subwoofer in the RH side of the trunk. Spent 2/3 of the time on the RH side.

I have now spent about $3,800.00 on performance and appearance mods. This is by far the best $179.00 spent.

Well, many (including me) think that this is a great mod, but their price-point is too high! So, I have been working with another company / engineer. The 1st one has been built & tested! So, in about another week (vacation) I will post another option for those who think this price is to high!
NOTE This kit will require splicing of a few wires though! I fully understang that some will not like cutting wires and plug-in-play is the way to go for these people. Beleive me, the few wires that need to be cut, are very easy to do. Simple straight-forward instruction with color-coded wiring details will be included.
This kit also has a factory quality connector for the inside plug. For those that don't know this, the two inside sockets (next to your licence plate) are only a 2-wire socket! That's why they don't work as a blinker! This socket needs to be replaced with a standard 3-wire socket. Install took about 20-30 minutes to do.

BTW, this other company has already sold over 1000 kits for other vehicles, so they ain't no fly-by-night place.
Also, you get a 2 year warranty
Price point will be around $100

Email me if you are interested and when the kit is ready to ship, I will let you know where to get one. I have nothing to do with this company and I personally will get Nothing for it. I just wanted to get this mod, but at a better price!

Just installed sequential kit from Web Electric. Very pleased and the install couldn't be easier. $179 well spent ($139.00 after I send back the old harnesses for rebate.)

Well, Webelectric beat him to it!! Earlier this week I purchased a DIY kit from L for $89.00. I installed it late yesterday - took about 2 hours. Had to install 2 new wires, cut 2 others on each side and do several splices on each side.

Got the same results as all you other folks for $50.00-90.00 less and kept my original harness. The results are truly great!! Thanks, L!

And you had to cut 2-wires. Thereby voiding any warranty on your tail lights if you ever have problems.

I was thinking about this mod myself, I too have the shaker 1000, how difficult is the RH side? do you have to remove the sub box or can you work your hand in there somehow?

Depends, if you have big hands like I do you will need to remove the subwoofer. I had to, it was the only way to reach the back bolt.

I mangaged to do it without removing the subwoofer but it was a pain in the butt. I think it probably would have taken me less time overall if I had removed the sub.

Glad to see some competition around the corner.

Ordered my spice in kit from Webelectronic on Easter morning. Got a reply from "L" very quick that they will ship today. ( ON EASTER) I expect nothing less than miles - o - smiles when installed. I am curious there Darthbob. What do you think they should be priced at?? Do you know you put about 5 grand in profit in Ford pocket when ya bought the car? I would think $89 bucks would be a steal for the enjoyment you would get. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Guys and Gals,
Another satisfied customer here with the Webelectronics splice in kit. Ordered it on Easter Sunday. Got a reply from "L" the same day that it would ship on Monday. Received it on Tuseday. Installed it on Wednesday nite in 1 1/2 hours. The instructions are excellent with very good pictures to follow. Took my time on the drivers side and blew thru the passenger side. Everything as advertized. Extremely happy. Left it in the burst mode for now. I like it. Best $89 dollars I have spent on the car so far. Thanks "L"

I think the WebElectric turn signals are my favorite mod so far, even though I don't get to see them!!! When we were coming home from Phoenix after driving in to pick up an F-150, my hubby and daughter followed me in the truck and said they looked so cool whenever I turned. They also said the brakes look neat because they light up from the inside to the outside and then stay light. I have yet to see this, but they both assured me it was very cool.

Anyone know or have a link to a website with the legality of these? I'm peticularly interested in Illinois. The only thing I have been able to find is in the rules of the road book by the DMV for IL, it is vague and says

"FLASHING or MOVING LIGHTS: Flashing or moving lights other than turn signals or hazard indicators are prohibited. This does not apply to police or emergency vehicles."

I dont know if this would rule out sequentials, especially since they burst once when braking?

Anyone know for sure? I would really like to get them, but don't want to give the police any additional reasons to pull me over.
