I could use more cargo room for camping and touring with my fiancée, so a trunk lid luggage rack comes to mind (kinda like Buzz and Todd on Route 66). Of course, there's not much space with a rear spoiler perched there.

I was thinking last night that it's too bad there's not a good-looking rack on the market that bolts to the trunk lid using the rear spoiler holes (plus a couple more, I guess). You could kill two birds with one stone: lose the spoiler and gain a luggage rack.

Anyone else think there might be a market for something like that?

I've really never been a fan of luggage racks on the back of mustangs. I think it takes away from the looks of the car, just my .02, but that's why we each have our own car.

I saw an old 65 Mustang with a luggage rack, and the chrome actually added a nice touch. I think it looks good, but I'm not so sure about the new model...

Interesting idea. You need one of the photo chop experts to put a luggage rack on a mustang with a spoiler delete and see what it looks like.
