These are my favorite hoods. Listed in priority from left to right (1-3) and all in my color. If the lines disappear on #3 I may move it to #2.

I think when RK Sports originally did this hood they were just duplicating the concepts hood which had the lines. I dont like them myself either and suggested that American Car Products version of this hood should maybe come without them, he agreed he didnt like them but didnt make a 100% decision when I was there one way or the other.

What does everyone else think?

Leave the lines. I like them.

Oh btw....can your friend do a ducktail like CDC's that covers the old spoiler holes? I like CDC's because it's slimmer and covers the 3rd brake light. I plan on getting their ductail and their 3rd brake light kit unless someone else makes one.....hint hint.

their ducktail doesnt cover the holes because it does cover the third break light, it sticks to the back of the car not on top of it. So if you were to make one that covered the holes then it wouldnt be like CDCs at all. It would be something more like the Shelby ducktail. But Agent 47s covers the stock holes and hangs over the back which covers the third brake light.

The hood is functional correct? It moves air from the two vents to the top of the air filter. Question:

Does water get in there? It seems like a bad idea because when you wash the car you're essentially dousing the air filter. Same with rain.

then youre washing your car wrong anyways, you should always sheet the water across the surface and work from the top down, so if you start at the top of the hood and run the water down it, it shouldnt get drenched in there. But to be on the safe side you can always put a towel in the scoops to keep water from going in or better yet tape it off. I dont have one of these hoods so I can not speak to easy it is for water to get in, but those pointers should help reduce it.

PS same chris on SCS?

Is your guys making that GT500 hood? If so could he make a GT-H hood to fit the GT500 front fascia? Does he have a mold of the GT-H hood?

YES functional

(A) during washing I never shot water directly up the vents although truthfully, with the 90 degree turn they both take and the foreward angle on the hood, any water would simply run forward and out the vents again.....

(B) to answer Chuck's questions, I drove in heavy rainstorms with that car and never had any problems
