Is This Too Much Bling?
I'm thinking about ordering a set of these. They are stainless steel with 3M sticky tape of the back. I think they might look pretty good on a MG car. Opinions?
To me it matched well with the older Mustang due to the metal rear bumper. Now we don't have chrome in the back (except for the badge) and the chrome trim just looks out of place IMO. I do think that the black trim looks good though.
Looks good Rich, I've improvised on mine with a "do it yourself" chrome trim strip that looks pretty good....but I'd prefer one piece like this one - as long as it's not too thick looking. I can't really tell from the pic. What's the source of these????

I really like them, I am planning to add several chrome touches to recreate the look of the 65 vert. I am adding the chrome tail and fog bezels and I am considering webelectrics grill addition and SS Inserts chrome mirrors and door handles. I'm uncertain because I do not want to go over board with it.
But the light bezels are a definite.

I put it on mine and stepped back and looked at it. Did not like it at all as I thought it took away rather than adding to the appearance. I removed it and placed in the trash can. You know the story about trying to fix what ain't broke. It ain't broke!! :notnice:
I put those same ones on my black 05 a few months back and they look amazing. i've seen them on other colors, but they really stand out on black the best. i wouldn't even use the word bling in reference to those bezels. i think the tail of the car is the cheapest looking area and ford should have chromed the tail bezels at the factory to make the car look a little more classy. be careful with applying them though - they're very sticky and bend/crease easy.
