I've heard of people trading the stock tires in and getting some 255/50r17. If anyones done this, where and what type of trade value did they give ya? Thanks!

Jay - it's really going to depend on your tire dealer - two shops I spoke with would not take the stock wheels/tires and the 3rd offered me a $300.00 trade in if they had under 200 miles on them (but that was probably factored into the price of the new wheels)

After speaking with various tire shops - based on going to an 18" wheel - they recommend going with an 255/45 tire to best approximate the original wheel/tire diameter. The thing that is confusing to me is the "offset" - I've seen so many different figures/opinions that I'm not sure what offset to get with an 18x9" wheel.....or what the wheel manufactures are even offering "offset wise".
