For anyone not familiar with it, it's one of the cars that was at sema. heres a link to where its available with some good pics:

street scene body kit

Not wondering about the rims or the louvers, but I cant decide if I like the front fascia, side skirts, and the rear bumper extension. What do you all think?

I think bodykits stink. Bigtime. It's such a good looking car, why on earth waste money on making it look different/uglier? :notnice:

One setback: paint matching.

not considering it, nor can I afford it ;p

But I was looking at all the sema mustangs to see which tuners had the nicest kits. I like the 3d carbon one a lot, and I thought this was pretty nice too, and hadnt really seen it talked about =p

I've never had a body kit on any of my cars, but if I had to pick one for my 05 out of all the sema ones, I'd either go with that, or 3d carbon I think

One word: fugly. The Stang is near perfect as is. Only things I'd ever consider are:

1) Window tinting

2) Painting side mirrors body color

3) Upgrading to 18" wheels and wider tires

4) MAYBE lowering the car a touch

Everything else is Ricer action. Why not just wait and get an SE from Ford if you want a "special" Stang. It'll look better and be worth far more in the collector market in 30 years, provided of course you baby it and don't drive the bag out of it!

Even if you get an SE from ford, there will still be many that look exactly the same. Adding a cosmetic mod such as a bodykit would personalize the car to YOU and noone else.

Just getting an SE would be for you and... several thousand others.

Some of you people have pretty funny ideas of what rice is.
Rice is : an 18 second civic with a bigmouth bumper big enough to swallow you.
Rice is NOT : A tasteful bodykit that doesnt look obnoxious, and flows with the lines of the 300 horsepower car its attached to.

I agree with you, but I have yet to see such a body kit for the 05. All current offerings are hideous as far as I'm concerned. Btw did you guys know that Saleen sold over 50.000 SN95 body kits? Talk about exclusivity...

the front fascia was my favorite part too, the side skirts are pretty nice, and I'm undecided on the back.

Save your money. It's ugly and will get damaged quickly.

If you like then get it! There will always be people who don't like and there will those who do. If it appeals to you then go out there and buy it. Just remember you are personalizing your stang to your tastes.

That kit is HOT. But remember that car has 20" rims and that helped a lot, maybe a little big for me. 19's are the perfect size In person you'll like the rear

And why is gonna get damaged quickly? If that is true, Roush has to retired all his 99-04 Stangs of the market because of the side skirts and front valence.

I might consider the front end if there was a version with a license plate slot.

Lowest price so far are the entire kit is $901.99. Not too bad. I personally do like the kit. I like the front bumper the best and 3D carbon's second. I want the hood from the 3D carbon, that would be slick.
