Tint question....pics would help!
Tint question....pics would help!
Ok, so I am getting ready to tint my beast, anyone have any pics of their windows tinted???
I need to see what 10% looks like, 15% and 20% ....also, the tint shop I am going to offers 2 different types of tint.. Electronic Safe and Non Electronic Safe. Is this a marketing scheme??? The guy said the electronic safe one prevents interference from cell phones etc...? Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

I used to work at a tint shop for 2 years and SOME tint can enterphere with a antenna ( add of that is stuck on with 3m tape to window) for satellite radio and w/e. Some tint has metallic flakes in it and can cause problems. If you dont have one of those antennas dont worry about it. Also I would get 20% all around
also with pictures color of car can make 20% look light. I have 20% all around with my black '07 and it looks light. Interior color can make it look dark/light also.
IMHO, 35% is way to light, 5% is way to dark, 20% is a good road.

A friend of mine got 5% on her Mazda 3 and can't see that well at night because of it. The darkest I would go would be 15% which is what I plan to do.
Here you go. 20% all around. IIRC the non-interfering tints are the mirrored and metallic tints you see on ghetto bangers and rice-mobiles.
In retrospect I should have gone with 15% to fight the FLA sun, but I'm still happy.
