surprisingly, I can't tell a difference at night. During the day, they are darker though when the lights are on and brake. But at night, with the lamps on and/or braking...it seems the same.

ANy problems with the cops. I too live in CA and I think they are illegal. I also have a black GT and I was thinking about doing the back lights and the fogs.
