Suggestions for putting tint on fog lights

So I found some tint we had around the house for windows and I want to put it on my fog lights to darken them a little. My question is that when I put them on them, there is like air pockets throughout the tint. I use a squeegee to try and get them out, but they just move throughout the tint/fog light. Any suggestions for this? Not sure if it's the tint or what. I know it's not made for lights like that but I've seen people do it before.

The thickness of the film may be too much for the curvature of the lens or you may just need to let the moisture dry out for a couple of days and see how it looks.

you mean to little? I think the tint that AM sells is probably thicker than this window tint. Yeah I could try just letting it sit.

I was contemplating doing the same. How did it turn out? Did you try warming the tint up with a hair dryer? Curious as its this or spray tinting mine. TIA

Yeah, hair dyer or a heat gun should help. You can also take a pin and "pop" the bubbles.

Let it sit in the sun, I've seen it take a week or more for all the bubbles to dry and go away.

It's not meant for the temperature and abuse from the road, it's not going to hold up very well IMO.

Agreed, window tint won't hold up to the heat the fogs give off. You can get decent 3M tint off of eBay.

Did mine with some tint I found in Walmarts fabric section. Was on a roll sold by the yard.
