You asked for opinions. And while all of us are about making our cars different, the general opinion on stripes like that is they do not look good at all on a Mustang and look very import-like. "Making your car stand out from the crowd" & making it look like it's an unfinished import are very two different things.

Try a matching "offset" stripe on the other side of the car . . ala OLSCHOOL late 50's

I like the red stripe to match your interior. However I am partial to silver myself. Don't worry too much about what others think. I took alot of heat for my stripes too. As long as you are happy with it. You will definitely have a unique ride.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I put full stripes on my notch which isn't very common, and I love them. Personally, I like the silver best!

There is actually a black mustang here in Houston with an offset stripe like youve shown, although its on the passenger side I believe. It is sort of a dark flat red and I actually thought it looked good on the black.
