Does anyone know someone in the NY, NJ, PA or surrounding area that can install my stripes for me. im afraid to do it on my own

 

Have adrenalin install them. He is the "official vinyl guru" and gave me some valuable info on installing rear vinyl. :bowdown:

 

Ron, if you have never installed stripes before, or anything more than a simple sticker I definately suggest you don't attempt it yourself. Of course I have no idea who is in your area but just bring in pictures to a local sign shop and have them look at them and your car. If they know what they are doing they will know that there will be seams. Search some of the threads where I posted more info on how these stripes get installed. Expect to pay around $450-$600 for someone that knows what they are doing.

 

ive done it before on my brothers 94 camaro but since this is my car im a little afraid. i found a guy to do it, recommended by ford and my friends body shop but im a little skeptical as hes just a guy, no real company and works out of his house. he said $200 to install the stripes as i already have them for the car.

 

where do you live adrenalin, maybe ill drive to you and pay you to do it

hmmmm, I am at least 10 hours from Montreal, so that may not work out
Anyway, be a little careful if the install is only $200.00. If he is doing this as a favour because he owes you then that is a different reason. All I am saying is I can easily tell the difference in workmanship between a cheap install and someone that knows what he is doing. Then again, the $200.00 obviously is not incl. the stripes. Has he done a new stang before? I have striped cars in less than 4 hours before, my 05 took me close to 9.

 

no he has never done a stang before at least not a new one so that kinda worries me

 

pssssst. He will be using a razor blade on your car and possibly cutting deeply into the paint if he doesn't know what he is doing.

Bro.. I see you are in Nanuet.. I'm in middletown.. and well its only about 35 minutes away and I had a vinyl shop here in middletown do it... they did a great job.. all for $450.. they are called auto lovers and if you want here's their number...845-344-3439... i personaly think they did a great job on mine... i'll try and posts pics..

yeah they did a heck of a job. did u buy the stripes form them as well or did you already have them. mine r precut and labeled as for which stripe goes where. id much rather have those guys do it if they have had experience before.

 

they quoted me $200 for install. gettin it done wednesday WOO HOO

haha.. thanks I'm glad they are gonna hook u up... I actually brought everything from them.,.. I actually have to go back cause I ordered the CDC duck tail spolier and that's going to have to be striped too to match the rest of the car.. i also want to see if they can put a tint over the headlights... good luck and post some pic's when u can!!

he did em today and i had t odrive back home in the snow. took an hour n a half. jsut need to go back for the front bumper. will psot pics soon. came out excellent
