I'd like to do stripes on my 05... but also want to keep the rear black out...
I found this pic online... I think it looks good.... Any thoughts?

That car's been discussed here in several threads recently. Search on "Cobra".

Not what I asked.... thanks for the effort though?
Reading the message which goes along with the pic helps.
Good luck for next time.

Personally I like it. Since the 05 doesn't have a bumper like the early Shelby's did I think it helps break up the rear of the car. Would I paint my car like that, I'm not sure.

I like the stripes, but for my taste, I think they need to go all the way down (do away with the blackout).

I read the message. That car including the rear treatment had been discussed in those threads. Rear blackouts with stripes have also been discussed extensively.

Searching a bit will also help.

My people get touchy with repeat threads. That aside, don't worry....they look great the way you've chopped them in. I'd do the same 'cause I like both....the blackout and the stripes.

Mark.
