I want them. My car should be here next week. I am doing a 66 Shelby theme. These would be perfect. Let me know when and where I can get them.

Dang. I forgot about how good these will look on your car, Jack.
(Can ya tell I'm pretty anxious to see you completed car? And that I've always loved the '66 Shelby vert.)

BTW, what's the latest story on the history of those. I know at first they though there were 6 and there was one MIA, but over the years they've said there were less than that really made. That's all I know.

I'd like to see items that are better integrated with the car's existing lines. Lately, it seems that people are obsessed with tacking on as much extra plastic as they can. The current model's designer stressed simplicity; many of these add-ons defeat that purpose.
I agree totally. But, I guess that's why they make so many different parts. I saw a black V6 today with window scoops and sides sccops in person for the first time. It looked to me like someone had just stuck geometric shapes on the side of the car. The more things I see on them the more I like my plain exterior with just different wheels and tires.

Yes- I work for Street Scene. I often post pictures of products to get the reactions of people on this sight. We value the input of everyone on this sight..
Mike, when is your "brushed rear gas cap emblem" going to be available? I have been waiting for this item since last year.

Cosmetic, but with a 4" hole saw and some dryer hose you can make them functional.
(hey, that's what Shelby did in '66)

Shelby orginally said he made around a half dozen. They thought that meant 6. SAAC now has records and there were only 4.

Sorry I know it's off subject.

They were never functional on the convertibles.

I have the new brake ducts scoops and the quality is great but while test fitting I found the top of scoop does not conform to the curve of the Mustangs body. I'm thinking of using a heatgun to try and form the scoop to the body but its too cold outside to work with the scoops now I may have to wait untill spring. I hope the scoop will hold the shape after heating and that the 3M tape will hold.

I hate to hear that. It seems like everywhere you look people are complaining about the quality of their products.

I'm sorry I don't have the SS Brake Scoops, mine came from LMPerformance.
I must make a correction the ones I have came from 3D Carbon not SS and I was not slaming SS. The ones I have are top quality and are identical to the SS. I just have a few questions. Will the adhsion promoter damage the paint and will the scoops conform and hold there shape after heating?
