Stock GT hood scoop
Is there away to add some screws or what not to allow me to take the grille out of it? I'd like to make this hood functional.... If I was to just take it out it would fly off at highway speeds

I was really surprised, but havent noticed much bugs/leaves or anything abnormal in my airbox after adding the shaker.
I think the problem you will have in making it functional will be ducting it to your airbox- its a tight fit under there...somehow you'll have to duct to dump into a cai heatshield, and theres not much room. my Fang/Aeroform hood has a hollow section that gets air to the airbox area, then a duct that diverts that to the underside of the stock filterbox. you can definitely hear the growl even though it looks pretty restrictive.
