I just recently purchased an 05 v6 mustang auto. when i bought the car it had a stick on hood scoop that didn't look terrible, But its gone now due to it blowing off when i was driving 70 down the highway i managed to get all the adhesive off with some adhesive remover but there is still a dirt like line where it was i have washed and nothing any idea how to get this off i can post pics if i need to.
Sorry if this isn't the right spot still figuring this sight out.

 

get a variable orbit/speed buffer and use a fine polish to clean it up followed by a good wax job. that should do the trick. porter cable makes a real nice car buffer uses foam pads thats awesome. i use it on my cars and highly recommend it for removing swirl marks and waxing. but even a small 5" sander with buffing pads would also work just to clean up the scoop spot.
