Someone make aftermarket hoods for the Shelby please

Jeff those hoods are looking killer! Can wait to see some of them up close! How long are you guys going to have the GT you're converting out there? I'd love to stop by and see it in person.

2 reasons you can't omit the heat extractors.
1.The hood would quiver from under hood pressures at high speeds.
2. Under hood temps would increase, defeating the cool air charge from the front scoops.
Give me a couple weeks to post the hood painted on a car and I'll also post pics of the under hood.

he was on his way out home to see his family and he took some time to tell me about the 67, 68 gt500 hoods.

RCF #68 hood
The #68 hood has been released to the public and can be purchased from The Race Car Factory website www.theracecarfactory.com.
The #67 hood should be painted and installed on TRCF's Mustang GT with the GT500 conversion in a couple weeks, I'll post pictures then.
We'll also update the website with photos of the #67 and some underside shots of the hoods.

I'm in the market for a '68 GT350 style hood for my vert but unfortunately this one missed the mark. I don't like the style of extractor this manufacturer decided upon. I would have prefered the louvered style of the original '68. I'll keep lurking for a while just in case they decide to create the original style.

Yeah looks like the GT500 concept but won't fit the GT500 front fascia. Cervini's needs to get on the ball and make some hoods to fit the GT500.
