I'm thinking about using the lense paint on the rear side marker and the LED tail lights I have installed. I'm thinking flat black

I am still in a quandry on my Mineral Grey however. I have clears on now, and they are better than the red, but still stick out too much. I like the one above with the tint on the MG rears, but still, a bit dark. I am thinking about giving the Stangmods smoked overlay a try.....

Mike
Mike a good idea for you possibly would be to use the Nightshades Spray tint and then cover that with some clearcaot. That way you could make them as light or as dark as you want them.

Just installed the rear lenses from Stangmods, with the smoked tint on them. So that finishs the front and tail with the smoked look.

I think these would make a nice match for the headlights. Does anybody have these? Post pics!

Well i just got done installing mine and although i love the look of the smoked lenses the Stealth bulbs have a lot to be desired. They are not very Bright at all. So i pulled them out and went to the store and grabbed some Silverstar bulbs for the turn signal bulbs and some regular yellow Sylvania bulbs for the 194 and they are much much brighter than those stealth bulbs.

In my opinion the Stealth bulbs are a waste of money and are way over priced for what they aren't. I do not know maybe i got some bad one but mine were no where near as bright as the pictures on page one. When i had the parking lights on you could barely see them they were so dim. So i checked and rechecked them to make sure i had them all the way in and or not in back wards but no matter what they sucked. Not to mention I paid 16.00 for all four of the Sylvania whereas the Stealth were 24.95 per two bulbs So i just wasted 50 bucks on bulbs I cannot even use. And trying to send them back to Stangmods for a refund is a joke. By the time they take the 20% restcoking fee charge me shipping on them if I retunr them I will still be in the whole 50.00 due to havign to pay to ship them back.

Complete JUNK!! And I advise everyone NOT to Buy them

Those are nice looking.

I am happy with the ones I have though they dont seem to reflect outward as much light with the all black reflector bucket.

It's good to know about those stealth bulbs. I decided to go with the Silverstars and they have a blue dot effect when they are off. But light up perfectly amber when in use. I could have easily went with the regular amber bulbs.

Perhaps there is an inconsistancy in coatings or something...

Hey 300GT,

Those lamps look awesome, but I'm worried that they aren't DOT compliant because they may not reflect amber from the side. Do you remember seeing any DOT or SAE markings on the housing?

There are no DOT or SAE logos on lamp housing. You do know I'm running stealth bulbs though, right? When activated, they are quite bright and very amber. Passed inspection with them no problem and can't imagine with so many others running the same set up as me that if they were illegal there wouldn't be a post about it by now.
