What news? Are they out, or are we still waiting?

They actually have the H13 SilverStar listed on the website now so hopefully the actual bulb will be available soon.

Well it's September. Have you heard anything else from the regional rep? Just curious since I have a credit card burning a hole in my wallet!

BTW, I just went searching for the fog light bulbs, and this is what I came up with... http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...tnumber=9145ST

Only $20.

Note: It is not $20 for the set, it's just for one bulb. I found this out when I went to pick it up.

The headlight bulbs on the S197 are 9008, not 9004

Nope! Just nice white light that you can actually see on the road.

The ones I linked to are for the foglights.

And all it says is "9004 shown."

Picked up H13ST's at local autozone. So they are out now...

From last night and another post i made...
Just installed H13ST's in my headlights and its a big difference in color... overall brightness isnt effected much if at all. But having white light over that dimming yellow makes me feel like I can see much better. Picked them up last night at local autozone. cheap easy mod that'll keep me satisfied til saleens or hopefully retrofitting 08 factory HIDs. Just my 2 cents..

I found (and purchased) one pair of H13ST's at the local Autozone in Waltham, Ma (For those in the Boston area, I had them check stock at their other locations, and most of the area Autozone stores have some in stock right now).

I was lucky, Waltham only had two in stock (so they're cleaned out now...).

Now my car doesn't look like it has 10 watt headlights compared to the Silverstars in the foglights

One installation note: The Silverstars come with a light gray silicone gasket installed on the plastic base. Our headlight housings have an orange gasket built in to them. You need to remove the gasket from the Silverstars (pops right off), otherwise they won't lock into position correctly.

Sweet! I got mine in now. We'll see how they look tonight when I go to work.

Call before you go and have them physically check for the bulbs. The first Autozone I went to had them in the computer inventory but, could not find them anywhere. They even checked every box from the last delivery. They checked with another store close by who actually had them and put them on hold for me.
