So i have been trying to decide on stripes for my car. I have been thinking about either silver, white or possibly(probably not) black. What do you guys think. I'm trying make my stang my own but just can't decide what color.

I had the same question a couple of years ago. I have a Sonic Blue GT, and wanted stripes. I ended up doing only rocker stripes in white, but would vote for white or silver. I knew someone with another Sonic blue GT that had black LeMans stripes which were nearly invisible at certain angles. Then again, if you're looking for that stealth look, then black may work great. Vista/white will be really in your face. There are many cars on this site in that combo. Check out pics of an 08 Shelby GT to see vista/silver. I think that may look a bit classier, but it depends on the look you are going for. I also believe that there are pic galleries here that would have shots of all of the combinations. Good luck, and remember, if you're doing vinyl, you're not married to it.

When you create a post or reply, you should be able to scroll down to where it says "manage attachments". Click that and browse to the pic on you computer, making sure it falls within the size limits. Select the pic and hit "upload". It should then be attached to your post.

 

Like Backafter20 said, I'd look at an 08 Shelby GT for the Vista/Silver combo. Do a search for Tom281 on here for a Vista/White combo, his car is sick! I personally like the vista/white combo, but it isn't going to be unique as a lot of people have that combo. It really depends on what you are looking for.

Do you have an idea of the look/theme you are going for?

 

I really like the Vista blue w/white stripes combo too, but I think the silver would look great also. Just remember that even though the Vista/white combo (or any other combo for that matter) may be pretty common on this website; how many have you seen in your area? I'm betting not too many.

You can't go wrong with Vista Blue w/White stripes! I had mine done as soon as the car was dropped off by the carrier 2 years ago and its the best thing I did to it. Really stands out, and I get TONS of thumbs up, even 2 years later!. Check out the pics below.

Silver actually goes quite well too.

 

I say go with Ghost stripes.
Subtle, unique, and great looking.

I would also consider the Super Snake style stripes for an even more unique look.
