Silver stripes installed on Tung 06 GT

Well the stripes are finally installed. Here's the pics. I just got it back so the car still has some water spots on it and there is no Zaino on it. What started out as a positive experience with Baltimore Street Mods unfortunately ended on a negative note, but I not posting this thread to bash BSM. Let me know what you think of the stripes.

By the way, these are 10" stripes w/ the 2" gap. Installed by Graphics Express in Oklahoma City.

BSM stripes

OKLACOP,
Your stripes look really sharp. Excellent color combo. What was negative about your experience with BSM. Was it the product or service? Anyhow, looks like all turned out just fine.

The negative experience was with the vinyl itself. I got the kit and took it to my local vinyl shop, who I've done business with before. They quickly told me that the vinyl used by BSM was about the lowest grade automobile vinyl available. My installer showed me a sample of what they prefer to use and it was night and day difference. BSM's vinyl was much thicker and harder to work with. My installer complemented the BSM pre cut shapes, he was just disappointed in the material used.

Prior to installation, I tried to email BSM about returning the stripes, but I received no response. I had several emails back and forth w/ BSM prior to buying the stripes and they answered all my questions, but once I inquired about returning the stripes, I received no response. I finally decided to go ahead and give em a try anyway. They look good, but my installer said the reason the instructions are so lengthy is because of the quality of the vinyl. If the vinyl was of better quality, people would have a much easier time with the kit.

I will say I'm happy with the finished product and that should be all that matters.

Okay here's my contribution. These didn't come out the way I wanted (the pics, not the stripes). I modified the kit a little to make it a 1" gap instead. That made the front bumper even ten times harder...but worth it

Looks great Buzzy..........makes me wish I would have gone with the spoiler delete option so I could have gotten the ducktail.

Rob,
It's never to late, see if you can find a dealer with a tungsten spoiler delete who's willing to swap deck lids.

For another $15.00, BSM gave me some extra material to do the ducktail, six months after I originally bought the stripe kit!

I thought thicker was better? ie: will last longer.

Looks great. It's the color combination I'm considering.
