Ralph, please tell me you are not serious. Anyway, I have yet to see anyone make them and honestly, I don't think it would look good.

The only chrome on the entire car is the pony, emblems and the fake gas cap. This just looks out of place to me as well. Sorry, not feelin it.

I have not seen anyone making chrome louvers. If you really want them quick- Duplicolor makes some chrome paint I used when restoring the '65. The door handles on the inside were plastic painted chrome and it had worn off.

very much out of place.

If you do it you will probably end up regreting it.

WOW, this sounds all VERY negative!

Why is that?

Has anyone ever tried this out or seen on another 05er?

Maybe I will reconsider reading all the above !?!?

do what you want its your car, dont listen to what others would do,

try a local vinyl shop and have them put the chrome vinyl on your side windows and see how you like it, if you think it looks cool then pick out the style covers you want and paint them chrome using alsacorp.com new chrome paint

Chrome is for older mustangs and cars, it no longer looks good all over modern cars. Honestly I hate to say it but that style is gone and passed. Though you may like it and it's your car, don't feel bad when a lot of people don't like it. That much chrome on a modern car doesn't look right.

On a slightly different note:

The 66 Shelby GT-350s had chrome trim around the the back side windows. I've wondered if this would be a good look for a 05/06. Anybody seen an example of this (on the S-197)?
