No need to do either one, you are one of us. What counts is how you help TMS members. If it happens you can make a sale then why not.

I went with these...

They come painted and have been on for over a year. The paint hasn't faded and they are still stuck firm.
Hey there,

Thats a great price for a painted louver. We have talked about pre-painting louvers. Not sure if that will happen or not - but its a common request. Those look a lot like the Street Scene louvers pictured below.

I ordered the ones that Stormbringer recommended, they look close to the orig 67-68 fastback, pre-painted and easy to install.
Thanks For Everyones Help!
they should look great on the Bullitt.

It's a slippery slope. You all have fun when all of the supporting vendors here decide to have someone post advertisements in every relavent thread. I'm glad some vendors still have their dignity and a sense of customers privacy.

Just remember you all said it wasn't a problem and you practically asked for it. I think Granatelli should come and employ the same tactics, it would be quite an amusing site to see.

Actually its not really a slippery slope! This message board script has a wonderful feature known as an ignore list. Ole JR Granatelli found himself on my ignore list when I got tired of his tactics. As such I pretty much didn't give a rats rump what he said or did.

If you really don't like seeing Page's posts maybe you should consider this!

You can resize your pictures so they don't exceed the limits, or go to a website like photobucket.com, download them there, and then put a link to your album here.

The ones Stormbringer recommended. they paint & clear coat them, supposed to be easy to install, will have to ask Stormbringer for any tips he has on putting them on, should have them in 2 weeks.

Cool Flush Louvers

I am thinking of getting the flushmount louvers for my Bullitt which was ordered Dec 14th. MRT tells me that they received a set of the flushmount Silverhorseracing louvers and are going to install and test them to see if they meet their standards. If they do, they will offer them. If they do not, they will manufacture their own. I was told to check back in another week.

My local auto glass installer has quoted me $150 for removing both rear quarter windows and installing the louvers. So I am just waiting for my Bullitt to come in so that I can make it look just a little more retro - but hopefully still have some light and vision through the 30% tinted Lexan.

LOL... I'll have to call those boys

I sent them the set in question - seeing as we have 500k data points off the OEM glass for fitment, they install like OEM, and they are made from Lexan, which is about bulletproof, I would find it hard to believe that they could do much more with it themselves... kind of like improving on the running horse on the grill or something.. Of course that says nothing to the US Patent that has been issued and the others that are pending in its design that would have to be worked around, but I digress, I know how that can go...

Note to self - call our dealer MRT tomorrow and see what this "make it ourselves" nonsense is all about...

Since we're making SNL refrences...

Deep Thoughts, by O.C.D. :

When someone has the ability to purchase a product directly from the originator/manufacturer, why would they instead try and purchase someone else's copy-cat product anyways?

Just kidding w/ you Al. Since the dimensions are OE, If this quality isn't sufficient, then I don't know what is:

Edit: And Congrats on the incoming Bullett! (Duck! )
