side window louvers

I picked up #352 on jan 18th, want to add louvers to give it that retro look. I had roush louvers put on my 06 GT, think they look too modren for the Bullitt. Any opinions from the BullitHeads on which louvers would look the coolest?

Only 2 choices IMO for the Bullitt. Either the SHR louvers or (sorry I forget who makes them) the ones that have twice the louvers of most others.

Seriously Mr. Stillen man, do you have to push your products in every thread? Is that literally your job? I swear every post of yours is an advertisement. It's gets quite old and annoying quick. I understand that your a supporting vendor, but does that mean you have to or give you the right to borderline harass everyone on the forum with the pushing of your own products, in just about every thread that has possible relavence to something you sell? I've encountered crack dealers less persistent than you sir.

To the thread starter:

Personally, I don't care for the street scene louvers. I believe the SHR flush mount louvers are the best looking ones out there.

These are the ones I was talking about.

Either those or SHR for Bullitt. And FYI - I'm offering the suggestions w/ no profit motive in mind.

Not if you're going for authenticity. The real Bullitt had louvers, not scoops.

Hey there,

My sincerest apologies. Yes, more or less it is my job. Someone asked about window louvers (brand new thread) so I responded. It was never meant as harassment in any way shape or form – it was meant as sharing information – which was asked for by someone who posted here.

<O</OAgain, my apologies if I in any way annoyed anyone. I will try to tone it down – some

Depends if you want '65/'66 style or you want the same/similar style the '68 movie car had.

I have SHR (silverhorse racing) louvers for sale. Never used or painted. They look great. But, I don't want louvers on my bullitt.

Your responding with a suggestion towards one of your products is a conflict of interest. I suggest Stillen put advertising dollars elsewhere, this form of advertising is relative to street corner crack dealers. It's highly annoying and I'm betting it will turn away more than it brings in.

The world is full of advertising. Mr.Nicholson responded to a query about louvers, so he suggested a product he sells. No harm in that. The potential customer does not have to buy from him. It's no worse than another fellow poster suggesting a certain brand of whatever from whomever. I don't see the difference here, especially since Mr. Nicholson is indeed an authorized advertiser. Isn't he allowed to do this?! I once asked about going with FRPP for aftermarket parts and was swarmed with suggestions to go with "other" manufacturers instead from other posters. In the end, I didn't have to buy from anyone I didn't feel comfortable with. That's ultimately up to the customer.

These are the louvers I went with on my 06. They have the retro look of the 67 & 68 and don't create as much of a blind spot.

I went with these...

They come painted and have been on for over a year. The paint hasn't faded and they are still stuck firm.

I'm sorry but I gotta disagree. There's no conflict of interest here! Avi8tor767 asked for suggestions and Page offered one.

No need to tone it down. Suggestions were asked for and you gave one. Anyone who responds to this question will more or less suggest things that they are partial to for one reason or another. No one should suggest something they think looks stupid and most wouldn't. I realize you're trying to be the bigger man/woman here, and I respect you for that, so I'll come out and say ignore the guy who's obviously smoked up on something.

Edit: btw, I like the SHR flush mount ones, but I haven't saved up the money or time to do that mod yet.
