Here is a picture of my V6-Shaker...I haven't cut back the shroud yet, I haven't made up my mind if I was going to do that mod or not.

I love the look of the Shaker and think that it will really pop out against my white car but I have some questions...

Does the Shaker really shake at all?
Is it worth the steep price tag?
Do you believe your car runs better because cooler air gets to the engine?

yes the shaker does move.....
i think its worth it. its steep, but you wont regret it....
i didnt see any improvement in performance or mileage, but i know where the air is coming from going into my airbox now.....

the best part is: its functional!!!!!

No, Tom281 had one with his Vortech & had to remove when he installed his Saleen.
Supposedly Saleen is working on a Shaker/supercharger, but it's not released yet.

Sorry guys I don't have a shot of the engine yet; I just picked mine up on Saturday but here are a couple of outside shots.

I wish someone would make a shaker that would cover the stock scoop holes.

I just added a Roush CAI to my car today and had to rework the shaker. My shaker is also trimmed, I believe that engines should be seen and not covered up. Next engine bay upgrade is to powder coat the cam covers.

It does move but not as much as the old ones did. Newer cars are much more solidly constructed than the old ones were.

It is actually mounted to the hood without any holes... It is mounted to four springs with feet that have adhesive pads... And buddy does it shake!
