The hardest part was NOT cutting the hood - it was making sure the shaker scoop was perfectly centered in the opening (something somebody at the production facility wouldn't care as much about).

Thank you. I borrowed the concept from the CDC car after giving up all hope of them building a kit like this.

Some 3" mandrel bent pipe, metal work and imagination was all it took.

Took off the scoop, strut tower brace and engine cover today getting ready for the shaker to arrive. Very nasty under where the scoop was attached.

Is there any difference between this hood and the B2 set up that cervinins offers at 1250 with hood and the shaker set up?

So I take it your biting the bullet and getting the holes filled and hood repainted? If so may I suggest getting rid of your washer nozzles and replacing with these.

Yes it's different. Their hood comes out a little further and requirs you add some plastic trim pieces around your headlights. Not sure if they make their own version of the shaker or just use the CDC version.
Click on the link below and scroll down to see what I'm talking about.

you may already know?

Hey....just a heads up ....you may already know but the cut out underneath the hood.....or the square you see...it is exactly where your shaker will go for the most part....so it appears that the back holes of your scoop will have to be filled.....

I was wandering if a scoop would cover the shaker hole just incase I wanted to put a roush scoop on and leave it open some how? anyone everydone that? just a thought?

The back 2 holes from the shaker will have to be filled from the Roush. So to answer your question the opening for the shaker is larger (thank God) than the holes for the Roush scoop.

the shaker I think will not cover your back two holes....if that is them where the blue tape is? because I think the shaker will only go where your square is under the hood?
