The shaker is a functioning scoop. It funnels the air to my cold air box.
Dumps it right on the filter. Or it cn connect to your stock air box.
Your choice.

It also has 4 water drain lines around the interior cradle.

Congrats Terry & welcome to the club
Beautiful ride you've got! If they had CA when I bought mine.....
You're also alot braver than I about cutting your hood, I had my Shaker in the box for 3 MO before I got the nerve to cut the hood

I hopefully will be able to start on mine next week. I have to get it to the body shop to fill some holes and repaint the hood. I also have to "modify" the shaker to look like Leo's, Bill's and others with the timmed shaker.

I'm pretty sure I'll like the end resilt on my car.

Why not cut the hood first? Then if you do make a goof it won't be on your just painted hood.

The body shop is cutting the hood before they do the paint work!

Beautiful Car! That looks somehow vaguely familiar. I just did ours a week ago. This is how it looks now.

Hey Californiashaker,

Nice car!! I have a stripe for my hood as well, but I have to wait until it warms up here a little before I can put it on. This fricking cold weather is driving me crazy!!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Even in Texas it was still cool enough I had to put a portable heater in the garage and let it warm for several hours before the temperature rose enough to do the stripe. So, what design is your stripe? Be sure to post some more pics when you get it done.

I just noticed you're in Denver, maybe I'll see you around sometime. My family and the car are in Texas but I'm actually working in Denver at the moment.

I just recieved my shaker tonight! Took it all apart so I can start working with the dremel on it this weekend.

I'm glad I got this for $500. CDC should be ashamed for charging $700 for this piece of plastic.

Trimmed the shaker tonight. Hood cutting will hopefully take place this weekend. Smaller is better

Nicely done Rich! See, wasn't too bad was it? All that's left is some door trim and you're good to go.

Am I the only one that likes the shroud & aluminum Mustang highlights?

Hey...Has anyone put the font filling MUSTANG stickers in the inlayed font on the aluminum sides of the shaker yet?

I was thinking of putting.....YELLOW!
