That's what Leo's trying to talk me into doing!

P.S. Bill, the Canton tanks would look sweet on your car!
I think Leo sent you a PM on how we did it? If not, just mask it off and Dremel it. We both used some self-adhesive door trim on the edges and is joined at the rear (non-appearance).

I do like the Canton tanks, might be a 2008 mod.

Same here. 2008 is only a day away, Bill!

Are they the same size? Or at least a tad smaller?

I'm not sure about the size, looks close to stock though.

If I did this, I'd also replace the P/S reservior too with a Canton (if it clears the C&L Racer). Just bummed that I will loose the MGW coolant cap.

Here's dly's engine bay with both Canton tanks. Attachment 37368
I'm just not too sure about the custom overflow can. I might use a Bud Light can instead.

Wow, these are some great setups... I'd definitely go for a Shaker if they came equipped from the factory.

I can't bring myself to cut apart a perfectly good hood. If it came from the factory as an option/package, I'd order it though.

That doesn't make sense. That just means somebody at the factory would be cutting up a perfectly good hood. Either way the fewer Shakers the better. Keeps my car more unique.

Rich, you think the Canton PS tank will clear my C&L Racer elbow? pic

Also, you have an overflow hose coming off the coolant tank?

I can't really see how close it is to the elbow but it isn't really much bigger than the stock tank. I have a overflow hose running down the front of the tank and zip tied to something below the radiator. I can't remember what.

BTW, I am inspired by you and Leo's pictures so I AM going to install it.

You won't regret it. Besides my exhaust that net's me the most compliments. Although I do catch some "Shaker haters" at show's talking amongst each other saying "It's fake. It doesn't do anything. That guy has to intakes WTF." So your going to bite the bullet and get a new hood?

Is the overflow hose the black one next to the upper radiator hose?

If you get super bored, take a quick measurement for me from the center PS mounting bolt to the back edge/side. Basically want to know how long the tank is.

I'll officially welcome you into the Shaker club once I see it installed.

It makes perfect sense. I can't bring myself to cutting up a perfectly good hood. I have no problems with someone at the production facility installing a Shaker.

Sorry I am with Charlie for now. My car is paid off, I have money to do lots of other mods atm. SC maybe my next one If the made an after market hood with the shaker holes already cut I would that too! My main worry about other mods is warranty delete Only 11k on the Stang.

Here you go if you have $1000 plus paint. Then of course the $800 for the shaker.
