Shorter Prop Rod for shows?
Hey folks, I just wanted to see if there was an alternative to the full length hood prop rod that I could use for shows. I don't want the hood completely open, but open far enough to see the ProCharger.
If anyone knows a solution to this, let me know!
Thanks!

Hey GREAT idea Kris - I was showing my car once and people missed the fact that it even HAD the California Dream hood because it was open..... :bang:
Wanna find a happy medium.
hey did you get the pins done yet?

Hey Kris!! So you got the Procharger installed? Nice have you any pics of the car with the hood up, so I can take a peek at the animal?
Also, a Dyno sheet? What kinda power are you putting down now, and has it changed your life? LOL!!

You could try the redline struts, and do away with the prop rod entirely. Lot of people have them installed - and lots have posted pictures of their install out here. This would be a great way to showcase your new piece of equipment

Not a good idea. One of the other 05 Stangers had a problem with the struts and fiberglass hood. Mo at RKSport also dosen't recommend it either.
