Now this really makes it a hard choice between the GT500 bumper and the Eleanor front

For those of you thinking about this retrofit, don't be apprehensive. Now that everyone knows what parts are needed it should be a breeze for your dealer. My guys had no problems making this work. The results are friggin awsome in my opinion. This turned out better than I ever imagined and on my drive home I swear three or four people about drove off the road trying to check out the car. Even though it was a little pricier than I first thought, I'd do it all over again.

One more thing. I don't wanna take any business from KC at Clevenger Ford by any means, in fact, i encourage you to get your parts from him if you can, but if any of you are in the central OKlahoma area, or if you are within several hours of Oklahoma City, I can highly recommend Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon for the install and the Mustang Collision center in Mustang, Ok for the finishing touches and the paint job. They did a great job. The car looks like it came from Ford this way.

Those people who live in and maintain that cemetary have got to be getting pretty upset by all of us Mustang owners.

Car looks freaking awesome. I however vote that you get either the Shelby rims or the upgraded front rims from the GT. And why not, it's not my money!!!!

Not too shabby.

Was there any second thoughts on the Shelby hood? Just doesn't 'do it' for me personally.

Didn't do it for me at first either, but once I saw it in person I completely changed my mind.

Gee I wonder why I'm sure it's so they can raise the prices to astronomical levels for the parts necessary I hope I'm wrong though, this is a project I'd love to be able to do eventually!

Congrats! Looks great!!

I was at one point going to do the same to the '07 I have ordered. I had estimated about $3500 to do the front end and use the vinyl stripes. I definitely did not anticipate the $460 worth of plastic vents and was as surprised as you when I heard that from Kevin a little while back!

Two questions -
1) did the existing windshield wiper fluid tubes get reused?
2) what tri-bar emblem is that and how did you mount it?

PS - Just for grins, Doug "Burningman" Schramm's Photoshop work for what I had planned is attached.

First, existing winshield washer tubes were reused and are the same.

Second, the emblem is the driver side V6 pony emblem from an 05-07. I made a bracket for the emblem. Look at my thread titled Shelby front end install begins. (sorry, I don't know how to put the link on here). The thread is under Exterior Mods. I have pics of the bracket, instructions for making it, and a list of the materials used. It really is easy.

Everything looks perfect on your car. Where did you get those Bullitts? How wide are they?

bullitts are from Mustang tuning. They aren't the deep dish, but are a lot deeper than stock. They are 18" wheels and are 9"wide. Wrapped w/ BF goodrich KDW II's.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys!!!!!!

Looks good! I'm not a fan of the Shelby hood but maybe as you say I have to see it live. I would love to see that setup with a GT-H hood on oit.
