Those plastics clips wrap underneath the bumper and attach the cars frame using the existing plastics pushpins. Just get under the car and look up and you should see them.

I have the ROUSH rear valance on my right now and I looked over the install instructions and it showed those 3 pushpins there.

I am waiting for bumper to show up. I also bought the Saleen exhaust to match, so I am curious as to how it will sound after. I also got the Dan Gurney Charcoal tips to go with it.

Anyone know who Saleen used for the PJ 302 Exhaust?

Sean

I can see where they go (I was looking at it when I removed my EVAP stuff) but they look worn down and the plastic may break where the joint is. I was wondering if they are all like this. I'll see if I can get a picture.

It's normal even on Ford factory bumpers. They're only there to prevent the bottom of the bumper skin vibrating in the wind as the car moves. There's not a lot of stress on them, and the plastic is tougher than it looks.

The mag mufflers have the tips welded on so I can't slip the saleen tips on these.

Anyone know of a comparable sounding exhaust? The mags are quite on short headers but sound great on my long tube set up. Not obnoxious loud and no drone.

Did you actually install the new Heritage bumper? Did you have to remove anything from the factory bumper to properly install this? I was told there is a wiring harness thing mounted to the inside of the bumper that you have to remove and install in the new one. Did you do that?

I've not gotten around to the install yet. It's been cold here.

I did get the Gurney tips in yesterday. They look great, a little on the heavy side.

I'm still looking for a replacement for my Mags.

I got a message back from the guy at Cervinis. He said they make the relocation part at the same time they make the bumper so he could not sell it as a separate part. I'm sure they could if they wanted to.

I may use the Stalker front end so I asked him if he would make an exception in that case. No reply yet.

I'm also thinking about modding a CDC I have if all else fails.

Have you done the install of the bumper yet. My concerns right now is the wiring harness and the truck lock access. I don't have the Saleen license plate filler yet in my possession, so I am not sure if there is a way to get to the lock or not.

I also need to figiure out the wiring harness bar inside the bumper, and how to move that to the new bumper.

Not yet. The cold and snow have kept the Mustang in the garage for the last month.

I've talked to a guy I know who is going to look at the bumper and give me a price to paint it. What are people paying to get this done?

I'm working on the CDC deck lid cover that I have to see how it will look. It may not work out, but since I have it I'm going to give it a shot. I've cut down some of the 'fins' to get the plate to lie flat. I'm looking at maybe incorporating a licence frame but I think it will look best with just a smoked cover. The plan is to cover the key hole (which is now my battery cut off) and remove the plate at the track.

So far it looks pretty cool and it will give me a unique look (until someone copies it). I'll get some pictures up in a day or so.
