running horse emblem.

I would like to replace my GT emblem and would like to know where to get these from. I have looked at a few sites but don't know if they are ligit. Are you guys just using fishing like to remove the GT emblem. Also, how do the running horse emblems mount? Thanks

Are you talking about the running horse/tri-bar pony emblem?? If so, they mount with two sided tape (already attached to the new emblem). There are two mounting pegs that fit into the same holes that the GT emblem was seated in.
I had gotten mine from parts cheap.com.

You can also change the running horse emblem in your grill to something like these...

There's a few threads on here that talk about this; if I find them I will post them. I am actually looking to replace the GT fender emblems and the GT rear gas cap, because I am turning my GT into a Mach 1. I already have the louvers, front chin spoiler and decals installed.

I used a hair dryer to warm the glue behind the emblem and then used a piece of fishing line to cut through the glue and pried the the GT emblem loose with a credit card. Move the line back and forth while slowly pulling from one side to the other. I picked up my tri bars from the local dealer. Lets see some pics CrazyGreek89.

I pulled the GT emblems off my car, as well. Bought the V6 Pony emblems at the local Ford dealer (genuine Ford parts will last much longer than the inferior aftermarket emblems, FYI)...

The pony emblems that I had gotten from partscheap.com are were genuine ford emblems at a cheaper price
