The weather has finally warmed up enough to start my next major mod. I carefully removed the GT emblems and replaced them with Pony Package emblems. Tomorrow, I drop the car off after work to have the red rocker stripes intsalled, with the GT emblems mounted in the stripe on the lower fron fender. I'm pumped, although it's supposed to rain for a couple days, so i won't be able to get a good picture till probably Sunday.

 

The stripe will be a standard Shelby style rocker stripe. My Paint shop skills aren't too hot.

 

GT emblem in the stripes? Sounds like a pretty good idea.
Original & different without being gaudy. Can't get any better than that.
Can't wait to see pics. What measurements are you going to use?
(be sure they line the stripes up with the rocker moulding and not the hockey stick)

It's the photochop I used to discuss the idea with the shop. I swapped on the Pony emblems last night - no sweat getting the GT emblems off. Used a heat gun, dental floss and some 10# test mono fishing line. The glue cleaned up easy with some goo-be-gone and I will be able to reuse the GT emblems.

I dropped her off after work and I'll pick her up tomorrow. We're supposed to get three inches of rain tonight.OMG!
