Replacing Convertible Top
My top is getting ready to die... the rear glass is separating from the vinyl and it's only a matter of time before it goes completely. I'll post pix when I get home from work.
Obviously there is no warranty on this any more (I'm over the 3/36, and I doubt Ford ESP would cover it) so I am guessing I will be carrying full freight on this one.
My question is: Can an ordinary person replace the top with regular tools? Or is it necessary to get a "top specialist" to do the install. Cost? (I seem to remember KC offering the cloth top for $1000 + in a box)
