Removing the front bumper on an 05 GT

I have two questions about removing the front bumper on an 05 GT:
1. How do you get to the 4 front bumper cover-to-reinforcement nuts? From the removal diagram, it's not very evident.
2. What's the best way to remove the 6 upper radiator sigh shield pin-type retainers? Just use a screwdriver and try to pry them out?
