I decided I wanted my V6 with the spoiler, but without the rocker stripe. So, I removed it. It peeled off fairly easily. Didn't need to heat it with a hairdryer or anything. It did not leave any sticky residue behind at all.

Does look cleaner without it. I was looking at the striping thread earlier today (where they asked for measurements); it seems to me like the darker colors look better with lighter stripes.

Looks beautiful without the stripe! I hate when dealers stick stuff on their cars before you buy it off the lot.. Is your back clean of ads too?

 

No dealership stickers on my car. I also removed the little sticker from the driver's side quarter window that Ford put on there.

A side benifit of getting stripes painted on my car was the removal of the dealer sticker on the back. I forgot about that Ford sticker in the window though. It is next.

 

Never had that rocker stripe on mine nor any ford stickers on the rear or windows... maybe i got lucky? (and yes i have the spoiler too)
