Remove the Gt Emblems and add the Shelby Snake? Anyone
I have had the side cobra emblems and the fake gas cap (Just the snake)sitting in a drawer for sometime now. Haven't decided what to do with them. My idea is to slap them on when I finally get around to the engine mods (doing mostly interior right now). I just feel that nothing says extra Ford performance under the hood than the snakes. No other emblem says it better - plus they look cool.
As for passing off my car as a Shelby - I wouldn't fool anybody, and I wouldn't stoop low enough to try to con anybody.

I've used this analogy before, but putting cobras on your car is like interracial dating. It's not illegal, it's not immoral, but some folks are just going to give you nasty looks and make nasty comments. It's the world we live in. If you think you can handle it, go for it.
HMMM...being American Indian/Mexican and married to an awesome Irish woman{30 years}(and I have a red headed adopted Irish daughter)... I'm posting my snake
I really only purchased this emblem because of the flat chrome finish.I still run the GT emblems on the front fenders.
When Ford didn't come out with a GT350 I'd thought I'd do my own, so I have done what I can to make my car look like a 67 GT350 on a S197 platform. I still need to change the window louvers over and put some side scoops on, and hopefully some Shelby rims. But I'm not appoligizing to anyone for the look I'm going after.
The 67 GT350 badging took alot of work by me to make it work and I think makes the car look unique, something most of us are shooting for.
