I think reflective stripes could be cool. In daylight, there wouldn't be much difference between reflective and non-reflective, but at night it could add a new twist to your style, and maybe be safer too! Side striping on original Boss 302s and maybe Mach 1s in '69 and '70 were reflective, and I think the '71-'73 Mach 1s had reflective stripes as well, so it isn't a "ricey" fad, but a historic throwback. Bob White decals has most colors in either style. How about reflective black stripes on a black '05, for a "stealth Shelby"?

The black looks cool.
Local cops have them. At night, lit up by headlights, they look silver.

Reflective vinyl has a 2 year lifetime warranty so they wouldn't last long. Also they do not handle concave curves very well. You would not be able to do the bumpers.

Hard to HIDE with any stripes.
I know I'm going to have to start driving better.
I can see it now... "Officer, it was one of those new Mustangs. It was white with blue stripes"

My tropic green Mustang has black reflective on the bumper inserts... it's suppose to reflect white or silver.. but is does reflect a bronze/gold type of color.

I get a lot of compliments on them. I just need to order another set. I was in a hurry to put them on and I've got some peeling and bubbling going on. At one time.. the "S" was missing.
