Racing stripe price?

I just got quoted $450 to install 10'' vinyl racing stripes from hood to bumper, i was expecting this to be much less, is this a decent price?

mods im sure this thread isnt in the right place, im on my lunch break and trying to be quick, please delete once i get e few answers

Hey bud, $450 isn't too bad to get them installed. There is alot of work to make sure the stripes are applied straight, perfeclty centered, and without any airholes. Its not a short job by any means. That price is fair in my book. Just make sure he plans on striping the spoiler as well, and if he plans on removing the rear medallion, so the trunklid application looks seemless.

+1 I did mine myself, and it took me 5 hours to do. Most installers I talked to say that's about how long it takes them to install as well.

5 hours of someone's time for $450.00 sounds about right to me

you can get vinyl stripes for $40 10" like you are wanting but you will need to install them yourslf.

If you want painted stripes...well thats gonna be more like $1000-1500. I did some research into it last year.
