281 Motorsports is having a sale on the Silver +24 20".. link

Not sure about the 'Shelby' stamp on them.
Thanks TacoBill......looks great. Might have to bite the bullet and order a set.

It looks like you're running some Nitto's too. How do you like them?

Great looking car man...What are you using for the detailing?
Thanks mate.

Yep, probably have gone wider with the tyres. But I wanted the same rolling radius as the stock wheels and tyres. That meant 255/35-20's all round.

For detailing... I never let it get too dirty. Believe it or not, most of the time I use Autoglym's Aqua Wax.

What helps is a decent camera and an Apple Mac to really bring out the image!

Cheers

Hey Gang...

Do the Razor's need special lug nuts to mount? If so, which type and where can I get them?

Thanks!!

Mine came with them. I got them from tire-rack. I'm sure you could just contact them.

+1... GREAT THREAD folks! This thread answered questions and provided pics to things I've been trying to figure out for MONTHS!

Should have came here first... ordering from RT Tire in the morning

20x9 Shelby Razor Gun Metal 24mm and Nitto 55 265/35/20... can't wait... btw, the best price I've found is $1749 with sensors, mounted, delivered to CO... anyone know anyone else that can beat that?

Try Onlinetires.com......I think ended up getting a better deal than what you got quoted....and I think my tire package was worth more as I went with 275's in the back and the 255's in the front. There is a bit of a price difference when you to go to 275's. It gives the car a very aggressive stance when you combine it with the +24mm offset.....a little bit of a raked stance as I went with 35 series both in the front and back.

Jumping in late here...

I've got the Eibach Pro Kit (p/n 35101.140) on my GT 'vert and I just put on my new Shelby Razors with the +24mm offset. I'm running NT555 255/35/20 up front and 275/35/20 in the back. I took the car out for a spin and when I came back I notices that the rear wheels had been rubbing against the fender. Has anyone else experienced this? I had some deep dish +48mm offset wheels on there before with the same tire and had no rubbing. I'm thiabout rolling the fenders... Advise? Thanks!!

I have got the exact same size tires, a +24mm offset and FRPP springs which are very similar to the Eibachs. Apparently, Eibach makes the springs for FRPP.

I do know that the Razors also come in a +12mm offset. You may want to make sure you did not get those instead by mistake. With a +24mm offset, the tire and wheel should be pretty flush with the fender......maybe about no more than 5mm max sticking out.

Also you may want to confirm you got the right spring set as Eibach does make a set that will drop the back end 2 inches.

did both tires rub or just one? Did you put a adjustable pan hard bar on when you did your springs?

Thanks for responding guys.

@ 5pointoh - (cool name, by the way). How would I confirm the offset? Is it stamped on the wheel somewhere?

@ Glenn - Both tires rub, and yes I had the panhard bar installed.

I'm going to have a fender guy look at the setup today. Maybe he can help create enough clearance. I really love the way these wheels look on my car - I want to keep them.

Yes, I believe the offset is stamped on the inside of the rim. Thus, you will just need to pull the wheel off and look. When I received mine, I noticed the number 24 on the rim as well as the rim size (i.e. 20 x 9). My car is lowered 1.5 inches all around and I have no problems whatsoever. Just check that you also got the right spring kit as well.

Also ironically, I did not need the panhard bar. I ordered it ahead of time anticipating I will need it, but the car did not shift to the left as forecasted.

Shouldnt rub with a Pro kit. I have the sportline drop and mine rub once in awhile. 275's all the way around. I've actually debated swapping out springs and going with the Pro kit to get a lil more clearance.

Then again I do have D-specs and set fairly firm.
