The rubber weather seal on the driver's side just at the top of the triangular plastic piece inboard of the mirror has a split in it. It's on the door side, not on the seal on the car next to the windshield. When the door closes and the window goes up that last 1/4" it's pushing up right in that spot. The passenger's side seal is OK.

It's a small split, about 1.5" long, but I can't seem to repair it. I've tried crazy glue and rubber cement. I think 5-min expoxy might be too brittle. Is there a strong cement for split like that? I guess it would have to have a little give to it.

(It's a 'vert, but I think the coupe is just the same)
