Questions about 05-09 front chin spoilers
What chin spoilers would you recommend for a 05-09 GT? I've looked at a few and was concerned about significantly reduced ground clearance, using double sided tape or permanent modifications to the front fascia, and possible grit being trapped behind the spoiler causing it to rub into the front fascia.
Is there one particular brand that is really good (OEM-quality)? I thought I read about modifying the GT500 spoiler, how hard is that?
The alternative would be a decent chin splitter. The one molded into the front of my Cobalt SS is kind of neat, almost similar to those used on the NASCAR Sprint Cup cars.

I like my CDC Classic front spoiler. No reduced ground clearance, though you do have to be more careful about comeing up to curbs and parking blocks, as it stick out farther than the stock bit. Attaches with stock screws/mounting points and the double sided tape across the top works just fine.
It doesn't actually sit any lower than the bottom of the stock bumper cover. So if you hit the spoiler, you would have hit the stock bumper cover.

Ford kind of made a built in chin spoiler look on them. Supposedly they extend 1.5" lower than the standard GT front bumper cover.
