On the one hand, my car is not a shelby gt 350, so I don't love the idea of putting "GT 350" there. On the other hand, I do want to recreate the look of the '67 (pictured below for reference). So I'm trying to decide how to handle that detail.

One idea I had initially was doing "GT 350 TR" or "GT 350 TRB" with the "TR" or "TRB" standing for Tribute. For the 99% of non-enthusiasts out there, I'm sure they wouldn't notice one way or another, and for the 1% of enthusiasts that ask me, I can explain. I wouldn't want it mistaken for "Turbo," though, which obviously its not.

What do you think - like it? hate it? other ideas? I have a poll...

Thx!

good luck with whatever you choose.

Sorry but that's the only pic I have. I'm almost 100 percent positive that I downloaded from another thread on this website a couple of years ago. I was thinking of doing something similar but with the word "Tribute", not "Clone".

Funny that you say that... I was thinking "Tribute" too - I think that's more self-explanatory sounding than "clone." Also, clone is sometimes used to refer to a restoration, so tribute is more accurate.

The one other modification I was thinking about is putting "1967" in the line above the "GT 350," the same way "clone" appears below it in the picture you posted.
