Those look nice. Out of curiosity what did those projectors run you?

My setup is going to definitely look nice. The cutoff for my projectors is stepped and they also flip to high beam, they also have clear lenses. I think the cutoff of my projectors is very sharp as well.

There was a recall on infinity HID headlights a while ago due to a seal issue with the housing. Apparently a lot of places use them and they've made their way back into the mainstream. I've seen sets around $75.00 - $125.00.

I know about the issue. The problem becomes none existent for retrofitting as when retrofitting you are not using the infinity housing, your using the factory housing in most cases. In any case, my projectors are brand new. They are not from crashed cars, or refurbishment. They are brand spanking new.

Sorry to revive a dead thread but I was curious since I was looking at doing this soon. So did this project die or what?

Nope it did not die. The projectors are in my car as we speak. They definitly have a unique look to them. I simplified the project however. The turn signals inside the housing I never installed. The ring of leds behind the projector is there and it also gives a unique look. Would make a great DRL option actually.

Now for the projectors, they are bright enough with 35hid's in it. However I have a 55w set wating to go in them. The high beams work extremely well.

All in all it was a very unique project. Would I build another set? Probably not. This one was a huge pain the ***.
