Problem with Switchback LEDs - Help!

So I bought a pair of switchback LEDs (along with a pair of 6ohm 50W resistors) from HIDGuy, and Ive got a pair of the LED taillights sold on their site (Part no. 1162), and I'm having a problem with the setup. For whatever reason, when I brake, the switchbacks cut out entirely. In the rear, the tails cut out entirely in the two columns that project the brake lights.

The lights do not come back on after letting off the brake, though if I use my turn signal, or hazards, the lights will flash as they should. Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem may be? Other than braking, the LEDs operate normally.

I've owned the LED tails for almost two years and never had any problems operating them with the standard incandescent front bulbs. Dante at HIDGuy has been helpful in trying to resolve this issue, but has informed me that he was unable to duplicate the problem with an 07 mustang that has the same LED combination. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I had all sorts of problems with trying to use LED bulbs in my 08 Mustang. I tried everything and just gave up and put the regular bulbs back in. I solved the whole problem buying a 2010 car...
