I remember when I was repairing a '07 Shelby GT back in 2009...you couldn't buy these except from Shelby. They wanted a copy of the accident report, title info, repair order and then they would graciously allow you to buy them for $300/pair. At the same time I had ordered a Boss 347 Crate engine for another car and these same emblems came with the engine at no extra charge.

LOL, lucky they didn't steal them!
I believe I still have a set from a crate engine somewhere...thought about putting them on my Dually....Oh the Humanity!!! LOL

I would have really loved buying one when they first came out for the 2007 model year, but I was still financing my previous 2005 GT at the time and couldn't afford tacking on the payments which were still owed on the "05" GT... I wouldn't have been able to afford the additional monthly payments if I had traded-in the 2005 GT for a 2007-08 Shelby GT... if I were able to go back and do it over again, I would have held out and waited just a couple more years for the Shelby GT to arrive for the 2007 model year.
