Got Mine on first shipment...... today was the first day it was raining or blah outside in 2 weeks.

Hey - its an area right off of Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach. Acctually.... it is the only road that runs along the beach and the view is not blocked by condos!

It's not Spyglass Drive is it? (on the east end of the beach just past Schooners)

 

I got mine on Friday and called them Saturday because I could see and feel dirt under the paint of the mirror covers. I also had an intake cover shipped at the same time. It too was not satisfactory in finish with dirt spots, a run and bubbles.

The staff was very friendly when I called to inform them and were quite cooperative in arrangements to return everything postage paid. They are resending me everything on Monday with a return postage label. I was assured that all parts would be carefully inspected prior to shipment.

From what I have read almost everyone has been happy with Midwest's products. I'm sure the replacements will be excellent.

 

stangnut, yeah that is spyglass drive! that would be cool to meet up --- and i haven't heard anything on the Pensacola show? When and Where and i will be there??

Has anyone had any issues with windnoise or whistles at highway speeds??? I don't see any postings stating any real problems with these. Almost seem to good to be true!!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/headscratch.gif[/img]

I got my second set of mirror and intake covers today and they were absolutely excellent in paint finish. The people at Midwest were very nice to deal with and I called them to let them know this set was much better set and thanked them for being patient as picky as I was.

I just wanted erveryone to know that was questioning the quality they made good on their product. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

 

So I was on the preorder list. I paid on the 21st. I called and was told they would ship this past Friday. Its Thursday night and still no covers.

Im getting a little PISSED!

 

Im not impressed with MAG's customer service.

Called today, they say the covers will be shipped today. Of course, last week I was told they would be shipped last Friday.

I hope these are worth the wait.

 

I ordered about 3 weeks ago and they said 1 week to go out. BUT, I just got an email confirming shipment, I think they will be worth the wait!!

About frickin time.

 

I put my Tungsten covers on and thought the color might be a little off. In the sun they looked very rose/purplish. Sure enough I got a call today from Midwest Auto Gear and they said that they were calling all those who ordered Tungsten because a batch went out that were not a good paint match. They are sending me a new set later this week. They seem to have good customer service but some definite quality control isssues.

 

Here are mine again since they were lost when the server blew up!
