Just wanted to get everybody's opinion. As I was driving around town for the past couple of month's I have noticed a couple of 06 v6 with the pony package grill. It's the one with the fog's and chrome crosshair accent piece. I have an 05 GT and was wondering if you could fit the grill on a GT. I kind of like the way it looks cause it remind's me of the older mustang's from the sixty's. Just thought I would throw the idea out there and see what come's back!! Thank for reading the long post!

Web Electrics Products has a Pony Grill Insert that looks pretty cool. Don't know if this what you're looking for, but worth checking out.

Talking

I love the look of the Pony Package grill, but I'm not sure that you can actually switch out the grills. I'm kinda thinking that you can't though.

As for those Web Electric products, those are OK but I really like how the pony grill has that horizontal bar that goes slightly out beyond the fog lights.

The v-6 grill is different in size from the GT. I remember a few people that wanted to swap the gt grill into their V-6 and had to swap the bumper cover as well.

Is there any way to mod the grill to fit a GT?

Not really a easy way to mod the grille on the GT. I would recomend an aftermarket grille without the fogs and then add the pony package to it. The one from Web electronics doesnt look right as the stock GT fogs are too big to be a good match for it.

The Web Electric Pony Grill Insert works great. Fit is nice, quality is top notch and installation is a snap.

The pony grille has the proper 'balance' of chrome to fog lights, IMHO.

I have the Pony "Corral" as well for my GT. I love it. It was easy to install (snaps in) and has not loosened or decayed at all. I love the look and now I think that the GT's and V6's w/o it look like they are missing something.
