I am trying to remember who already did this. I found it to be too busy once the trim rings were installed on the fogs.

John I think mark is talking about Show-Lenses, the vinyl static covers. And I agree a slight tint might look mint!

Thanks Ben, you're correct. John might have seen those ugly, ugly trim rings on my fogs before I slapped myself in the head and ripped them off. The "Showlenses" do look great - tried putting them on the other day but too cold in the garage although it did give me a flavour of what they'd look like come the warmer weather

And if the corral adds to the good looks, well there goes some more money. Oh well.

I agree....we need to see this! I have the corral on the car and ordered some lenses today. Unfortunately it's going to be cold here for months to come so I can't put them on.

I also agree it looks a little busy with the big fog lights. And I don't think it really looks right paired up with the hood scoop.

This may totally not be the direction you want to go, but if you want to do something different with the grille, what about the Cervini's billet grille with offset pony grille emblem? That would make your car look more like a '65/'66 Shelby with your Roush hood scoop there. Of course the next step would be to get stripes on your car. I personally think the Roush scoop needs stripes.

Here are some pics of mine with the limo tint from ShowLenses. I would have used something lighter, but my Smoke and Faded covers are still on their way. The lighting isn't great since it was getting dark outside, but these should give you the general idea.

Thanks Jeromy, much appreciated. I think you're right, the limo tint is too dark but I'm betting the smoked with be perfect. So I'll await your next pics when the other lenses arrive. I've got my smoked ones on and I likem alot. Another thing I did to mine months ago was put a 3/8" strip of chrome (plastic chrome) molding (like the stuff at Pep Boys) around the grill opening (like the old 'Stangs from the 60's/70's had, except none across the hood lip. Therefore it's in a "c" shape, right at the edge of the black lip molding that defines the grill shape. Hope you can see it in the pic:

Up close or far away, looks like it could be factory. And it's a perfect compliment to the corral - again, just like the old grill surrounds. Le'me know what you think.

How's this, should give you a good idea. This one has the smoked lens covers but it's in the garage and a little dark. Outside they're a fair bit lighter, you can see the ribbing in the fogs still.

I was talking about the chrome, but this is a good pic of the chome too. What did you stick the chrome to? I assume it is self-adhesive, but is it stuck to the fascia or the grill?

Thanks,

Yes, yes I know you were talking about the chrome, the only way to get an appreciation of how it looks is from a full-on shot of the front. Anyways, it's stuck to the very edge of the grill, right where the black edging of the grill surround meets the paint - not to the bumper fascia itself. Hey, it's only a $5.00 experiment. Bet it'll look great with the corral's chrome.

Cool! It looks good. I was confused because you mentioned the smoke showlenses in your post. I may have to try the chrome on my car as well. $5 is cheap.
