Wow looks really good!! I have a 08 gt alloy grey an would like to try an achieve that front bumper gt/cs look. Can I get the plasti dip at home depot? Also does it come off easily or no?

Edit: sorry at work and quickly going through these posts. So I saw I can get it at home depot, but still curious about it coming off if I don't like it.

It peels right off after it's dry if you dont like it. The thicker you put it on (ie more coats) the easier it is to get off.

Okay cool, sounds interesting. Also as far as washing my car, do you have to be gentle around the area? I tend to wash my car a lot an wouldn't want it coming off. Thanks

Wow so I feel really dumb but I believe I already have the gt/cs front bumper. I always thought I didn't have that version but then again I've been confused exactly what differentiates the gt/cs from a regular gt. It seems I have that black front bumper part. I feel like an idiot. Anyone clarify this for me? Lol

Oh okay. Well I guess I can scrap this plasti dip idea lol. Looked fun to play with. Definitely a nice cheap alternative for styling looks.

I wash my car all the time by hand and I haven't had any issues. I wash the dipped parts exactly the same as everywhere else. I don't know how they'd hold up to high pressure or automated car washes tho.

I dipped the center caps of my wheels about 2 months ago and they have stood up great! I have even taken it through the auto wash that has the heavy duty wheel brushes.
